Meshing imagination, creativity and the natural sciences, students will learn about science and art, by inventing and creating innovative projects. Think Bill Nye meets Rube Goldberg with a hint of Jonathon Borofsky.

Start with drawing and end up with your own recycled robot! Learn the nuts and bolts of robot design as you build your own replica robot – your imagination is the only limit in what you can do.

Has your child ever wanted to put his/her own artwork on a skateboard? In this program, kids will learn the history and process of skateboard graphics, then design and create their own boards. From plain maple board to finished varnished design, your child will have the chance to create their own one-of-a-kind skateboard. Your child will finish the class with a complete Birdhouse skateboard, The last class will be a skate session at a local skate park – a great chance for kids to use their new boards!

Social skills here we come! Learn how to read people's expressions, enter a room and access an ongoing conversation, and if rejected, how to then re-approach a group. We'll look at entering conversations in general, and paying attention to our surroundings; i.e. not starting a conversation with your mom when she is on the phone.

Take some of the stress out of schoolwork by learning valuable and simple techniques for increasing your reading productivity. Fun and fitness are the goal of this program. Individual effort and progress is emphasized through safe martial arts training for the athletic and non-athletic alike. Tae Kwon Do is a timeless practice which unites the physical, emotional and spiritual. Your child will learn grace, motivation, discipline and confidence, as well as respect for all of our physical places in the world.

Tribe is weekly adventure for 13 to 16 year olds. We'll go hiking, biking, surfing, exploring; we'll make movies, music, art, and more.
